Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

ovrsite, a service of Site Intelligence LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), provides software for managing construction project documents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. Name, email address, and the firm or organization you belong to, collected when an account is created or you are invited to one.

Content you provide. Documents, project data, and other materials you or your firm upload to the product, which may contain personal information about your employees, clients, or third parties.

Authentication data. We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect your session.

Usage and device information. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure the service.

Our role in processing your content

For the documents and project data your firm uploads, we act as a service provider (or "processor") handling that content on your firm's behalf and instructions. Your firm remains responsible for the personal information contained in the documents it uploads. For account, usage, and device information, we act as the responsible party (or "controller"). A data processing agreement is available to customers on request by contacting [email protected].

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the product.
  • To authenticate users and secure accounts and data.
  • To process and analyze documents you upload, including using automated and AI-assisted features to extract, search, and summarize content within your firm's workspace.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate with you.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

AI processing and model training

Our product uses automated and AI-assisted features to process the documents and data within your firm's workspace.

We do not train AI or machine-learning models on your content. This applies both to ovrsite and to the third-party AI providers we use to deliver these features. Where we rely on third-party AI providers, we do so under agreements that restrict their use of your data to providing the service to us and that prohibit them from training their models on your content.

Service improvement

We use customer content and the outputs generated from it to operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including refining the prompts, quality checks, and automated workflows that power our features. This work takes place in a controlled internal environment; one customer's content is never used in processing another customer's documents and is never exposed to another customer. If you have a separate written agreement with us that addresses the use of your content, the terms of that agreement control to the extent they conflict with this section.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service:

Within your firm. Content is accessible to authorized users of the same firm or organization.

Service providers. Hosting, storage, email, and AI-processing vendors that act on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

Legal and safety. Where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. Where we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You or your firm administrator may request deletion of your account and associated data.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, access controls, and tenant isolation between firms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. If your personal information was uploaded to our product by a firm using our services, we may direct your request to that firm, since they control the content in their workspace.

California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) provides the rights described above to California residents. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

EEA, UK, and Swiss residents. Where the GDPR or equivalent laws apply, we process personal information on the legal bases of performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary to operate the product — primarily to keep you signed in and to protect your session against fraud and abuse. We also use one analytics cookie (Google Analytics) to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage of the product so we can improve it. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, this analytics cookie is set only if you accept it through our cookie banner; elsewhere it is enabled by default and you can opt out at any time through the banner or your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share the information these cookies collect.

Children's privacy

Our product is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
